MWS Solar Field ™ for IPH

Hot Water Generation required for Bulk Drug Manufacturing :
A pharmaceutical company in Hyderabad needs 30,000 Ltrs. of hot water per day at 90°Cfor manufacturing Probiotics, and were earlier consuming 200 Ltrs. of Furnace Oil for the purpose. Megawatt provided them with MWS Solar Field Solution which is supported by MNRE and UNDP subsidies in addition to AD benefits for saving their fuel cost.

6 nos. of M90 dishes of area 90 m2 each were installed to heat-up thermic oil at atmospheric pressure. This thermic oil transfers its heat to water in heat exchanger which is then stored in insulted storage tanks.

The solar field operates fully automated without any human intervention involved and is remotely accessible for preventive maintenance. Payback period of system is less than 4 years, which is very soon going to be completed. Thereafter the system will be generating hot water free of cost for next 20 years.

Thermic Oil Heating in Rubber Industry
MWS is proud that our 16 dishes at Vadodara, Gujarat are into operation rated at 6 lakh Kcal/hr with a temperature range of 250˚ C. Its the largest parabolic solar thermal concentration system installed in India.

The system is self gravity balanced and is engineered to highest specifications. The system is fully automated during starting, operating and shut-down period. It automatically responds to high wind and various other weather conditions. It is a completely indigenous concentrator technology made in India.
